2010 16U “A” Diamond Wildcats Softball Tryouts
The Diamond Wildcats girl’s fastpitch softball team will be holding a tryout for the 2010 season on Saturday, August 8, 2009. The tryout will be from 9:00am until 1:30pm at Duensing Field in Jefferson City , MO. The Diamond Wildcats are a competitive “A” fastpitch softball team who play ASA, IFA, and USSSA tournaments. Playing time is earned based upon play in practice and games. The Wildcats carry a roster of 11-12 players. The Wildcats tournament schedule involves trips throughout Missouri and Kansas looking for the best competition available. Coaches will be Darrell Hiatte, Amy Miller, and Craig Schulte. 2010 12U Columbia Spirit Fastpitch Softball Tryouts
The Columbia Spirit girls fastpitch softball club will hold its 12U (1997 and 1998 birthdays) tryout for the 2010 season on Saturday, August 15, 2009.  The tryout will be from 10:00 AM until12:00 PM at Antimi Green Field in Columbia, MO.  Registration will be from 9:00-10:00 AM.  Pitchers and catchers will demonstrate their ability from 12:00-12:45 PM.  All positions will be considered.  We are especially looking for two to three feature pitchers to carry the pitching load and solid catchers.  The Spirit is a competitive club which play USSSA and NAFA tournaments and the Diamond Council league in Columbia.  The Spirit will carry 12-13 players in 2010.  Practice begins in early September 2009.  The Spirit will play one or two Fall 2009 tournaments and it will play in Missouri and Kansas in Summer 2010 (approximately 7-8 tournaments).  The 12U Columbia Spirit head coach is John Ramsey.  For more information, please contact John Ramsey at 573-256-8397 (john751@centurytel.net) or Kurt Jefferson (Director of Softball, Columbia Spirit) at 573-449-7739 (email kwjefferson@gmail.com).
