14U COLUMBIA SPIRIT - Fastpitch Softball Tryouts

The Columbia Spirit girls fastpitch softball club will hold its 14U (1996 and 1997 birthdays) team tryouts for the 2011 season on Sunday, August 1, 2010. The tryout will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Antimi Gold Field in Columbia, MO. Registration will be from 3:30-4:00 PM. Pitchers and catchers will demonstrate their ability from 5:30-6:00 PM. All positions will be considered. We are especially looking for feature pitchers to carry the pitching load and solid catchers. The Spirit is a competitive fastpitch club that will play Spring/Summer tournaments and the Diamond Council Fall and Spring leagues in Columbia. The Spirit will carry 11-12 players in 2010-2011. Practice begins in mid-to-late August 2010. The Spirit will play one or two Fall 2010 tournaments. All players including those playing Fall school ball are welcome to tryout.

12U COLUMBIA STORM
Sunday August 8th from 1:30 - 3:00 (registration starts at 1:00) on Antimi Black field
This is a new start up team. All positions needed including pitchers. We have veteran fastpitch coaches with several years of experience, including several top 10 finishes at National tournaments. This team will compete at the 12U level. Girls with 1998 birthdays or after required. We plan to play in the DC competitive fall league and DC competitive summer league along with 5-6 tournaments next summer (around 40- 50 games).

12U SPIRIT FASTPITCH TRYOUTS
Saturday August 7th at Antimi Gold field in Columbia. Registration at 3:00 pm with tryouts from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Pitcher and catcher tryouts will begin at 5:00 pm. All positions are open. We will schedule 20-25 games in the fall of 2010 and 45 - 50 games in the spring/summer of 2011. Both schedules include playing in the DC league. Our team is a traveling team with plans to qualify for a World Series/National event. We are looking for second year competitive players who are seeking to play a challenging competitive schedule and have FUN. The Missouri Revolution Girls Fast Pitch Softball Club is non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that teaches the game of softball to girls of all ages and prepares our high school age girls for the possibility of playing in college.
