2009 AA Baseball Leagues |
Want to play a higher level of baseball, we have the league for you. Changes we have made because you asked, improved fields, more games, tournament, good competition. Games will begin April 13, 2009 and run through then end of June. Free tournament entry to a mid-season tournament,May 8-10, 2009, and discounted entry fees to 2 other DCC Sponsored Tournaments Games will be played at Antimi/Oakland Fields (9u/10u), American Legion (11u/12u), and the newly built Atkins Fields (13u/14u). The Antimi and Legion Fields are in the process of being re-worked so that water flow will allow more games to be played even with the rain. They have dirt infields so you will get a much truer hop on ground balls. If you are familiar with the Antimi complex it has 6 fields, a brand new concession stand, shade structures for fans and no restrictions on food or drinks carried into the park. |
Diamond Council is offering an 18/20 game season and a mid-season tournament for $1400. We are accepting Whole team registrations and Individual player registrations. Players that register individually will be drafted to teams, however, any player that may not have the skill level to compete in this league will be placed in our A Baseball Leagues. Whole teams provide their own equipment and uniforms. Teams will play 2 games per week starting Apriil 13th. Teams may request double headers. |
$1400 fee includes 20 League Games, one tournament, USSSA team registration, USSSA team insurance, and game balls are provided by the league. |

Time Limit – 1 hour 45 minutes (time starts at end of pre-game conference). Game times: 6:00 & 8:00 p.m. USSSA baseball rules are used to govern play. Two umpires will be scheduled for all games. |
| These teams play in a separate league from the neighborhood formed teams (Recreational or A Leagues). These are teams with more skilled players and register differently from the recreational players. Coaches recruit their own players enter this league as a whole team. This league will be sanctioned by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), and accepts AA teams. USSSA teams are formed by age as of April 30th of the current year. This league will play two games per week, no double headers unless requested. If you are interested in forming a team for one of these leagues and may need additional players contact us at 573-499-9741 or email us. If you know of a player looking for a team, have them contact us to be put on the player contact list.. |
| Coaches in these leagues must communicate to their players that these are competitive teams and players are not guaranteed equal playing time as in the A Leagues. Coaches select players and and parents and palyers understand that the coaches are not obligated to give equal playing time to all players. In addition to whole teams registering, we will be accepting individual player registrations for our AA Leagues. A Player Draft will held on March 1st from 1:00-4:00 PM. Locaction to be determined. Any player that does not have the skills to participate in the AA Leagues will be placed on a team in our A League. The cost for individual player registration is $100. |
