Competitive Fast Pitch Leagues

These leagues will follow American Softball Associate (ASA) rules with some Diamond Council league specific changes (see Coaches Handbook for more rule information). If you are interested in forming a team for one of these leagues and may need additional players contact us. If you know of a player looking for a team, have them contact us to be put on the player contact list.

Coaches in these leagues must communicate to their players that these are competitive teams and players are not guaranteed equal playing time as in Recreation Leagues. Coaches select players and players select coaches with the understanding that the coaches are not obligated to give equal playing time to all players.

10 & Under Comp (9 & 10 Yrs) 14 Games - $600 - Game begin April 13, 2009 - Tuesday DH's
12 & Under Comp (11 & 12 Yrs) 14 Games - $600 - Game begin April 13, 2009 - Wednesday DH's
14 & Under Comp (13 & 14 Yrs) 14 Games - $600 - Game begin May 18, 2009 - Thursday DH's
18 & Under Comp (15 - 18 Yrs) 14 Games - $600 - Game begin May 18, 2009 - Tuesday/Thursday DH's (one night)

10 & Under Competitive

Teams will be scheduled for a total of 14 games and playing on Tuesdays starting Mid-April. Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park. Games will be six innings in length and will be played with a 1 hour and 20 minute time limit. Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. ASA Fastpitch Rules are used for these divisions, except teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution. Two umpires will be scheduled for all games in this division.

12 & Under Competitive

Teams will be scheduled for a total of 14 games and playing double headers on Wednesdays starting Mid-April. Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park. Games will be seven innings in length and will be played with a 1 hour and 20 minute time limit. Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. ASA Fastpitch Rules are used for these divisions, except teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution. Two umpires will be scheduled for all games in this division.

14 & Under Competitive

18 & Under Competitive (15-18 yr)

Teams will be scheduled for a total of 14 games and playing double headers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting Mid-May. Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park. Games will be seven innings in length and will be played with a 1 hour and 20 minute time limit. Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. ASA Fastpitch Rules are used for these divisions, except teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution. Two umpires will be scheduled for all games in this division.

These teams play in a separate league from the neighborhood formed teams (Recreational or A Leagues). These are teams with more skilled players and register differently from the recreational players. Coaches recruit their own players enter this league as a whole team. This league will be sanctioned by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), and accepts AA teams. USSSA teams are formed by age as of April 30th of the current year. This league will play two games per week, no double headers unless requested.
