Without parents and other adults stepping forward the league cannot exist.
Please consider helping run the DCC Baseball adn Softball league by volunteering for one of the following positions:

| Takes responsibilty for team participation... serves as the primary contact for the team with the DCC. Provides both instructional and developmental guidance to the participants. Assures players, parents, and coaches that skill devlopment, sportsmanship and equal participation are the primary goals for the team. | 110 |

| Provides both instructional and developmental guidance to the participants. Assures players, parents, and coaches that skill devlopment, sportsmanship and equal participation are the primary goals for the team. | 110 |
| Team Parent | |
| As a Team Parent, you will fill in where coaches leave off. Responsibilities may include creating and coordinating the teams treat schedule or arranging transportation for a player if needed, and otherwise support the coaches and players on the team. | 110 |
| Team Sponsor | |
| Please consider sponsoring a Diamond Council team. Your company or organization can sponsor your child's team. The cost provides hat, shirts, & medals. Sponsors are vital in helping provide a quality summer program to an ever-increasing number of Boone County youth. The fee covers the cost of shirts, hats and players participation medals. A sponsor may actually select the team they sponsor by specifying a league, player or coach. The sponsor's logo is printed on the front of the team shirts. | 110 |

| This is a paid position through the City of Columbia. Umpire clinics and rules meetings are required. If you are interested in being an umpire for DCC, please contact Bobby Chick at the Columbia Parks & Recreation at 874-7706.
